Corporate capital structure is one of the most studied areas of business decisions. Nevertheless, it continues to be one of the least understood and more difficult to quantify. In this line of research, there is a large body of work modelling the interaction between taxation and corporate financing decisions, but little support has been found in empirical analysis.
